What I do is provide you with high quality, professional design and drafting services for your residential and/or light comercial property in an honest, no-nonsense up-front manner.
If you require any sort of architectural drafting or design for your remodel, or even 'ground-up' project I can do this for you at a reasonable cost. I pride myself on be able to "just get it done", from design, construction documentation and the permit process.
I can also help you with a presentation to your Planning and Review board or your HOA if either of those things are required.
Many times either of those two associations may require color and material samples but will accept a professionally rendered design instead.
Well, I do that too.

Hello and welcome to Tardif Drafting & Design.
Most residential additions will require a site plan, floor plans, roof plan, foundation plan, electrical plan, elevations (both existing and new) and architectural details with notes on a variety of details. I perform all of these services and more. Such as; computer generated California Energy Standards for new fenestrations, HVAC systems, additional living area and electrical requirements of the state of California.
I am not an engineer but I work with some of the best in the region. Engineers that take into account that my clients need good structural engineering that will not be "over-engineered" at the expense of the client.
I specialize in creating construction documents for your project. Whether you have a kitchen or bath remodel or a large addition.
The documentation is one of if not THE most important phase of your project as all the other trades will use the documents to build your project.
You need someone that knows what they are doing and how to get the project to the permit phase with the least possible problems.
