Cal. Energy Standards:
The Cal. Energy Standards used to be known as Title-24 requirements. Now all the California Building Codes are under the heading of Cal. Title-24.
The Calif. Energy Standards are those minimal standards of energy efficiency that all new construction must comply with including new, deleted or altered fenestrations (your glass windows and doors) HVAC and lighting fixtures. Many times using what is known as prescriptive design for these things is all that is required but if the alteration or new construction is big enough then the structure may be able to use a certified computer analysis to comply with the standards.
